As you know, every night when the girls are supposed to be asleep, they're busy pretending to be one thing or another. The other night it was baby birdies. They arranged their blankets into nests and have been sleeping in their nests for a few days now.

Christine! Your children are beautiful. I can't believe James is that big already! It was just like yesterday when you were prego, all cute with a tiny baby bump and you didn't even look like you gained one single pound... it made me sick!!!!
I'm so glad you have that much fun with your kids, while you still go to school and work. I look up to you a lot, and always think, "If Christine can do it, I can too!"

PS: I'm adding your name to my list of blogs. Hope you don't mind!
I love how your girls pretend! It must be credited to your parenting ability. Cuteness will always abound in your family, I am sure!
I, on the other hand, get to deal with the not-so-cute pretend moments:
Kade, 4 yrs old, at a brother's soccer game, back to the crowd (thankfully) peed on a chain link fence (into someone's back yard) while turning side to side singing, "I'm a sprinkler! I'm a sprinkler!"
That was not so cute. But it does give us something to laugh about with him. He thought he was pretty clever!
Keep enjoying the moments and thanks for writing them in your beautiful blog!
Laine and Eve, you so much fun! I wish I could play birdies in the nest with you. I could be the grandma bird. We could go to sleep and then go on a flying adventure in the morning when we wake up. I love your wonderful imaginations and miss all of our make believe stories we used to tell when you were in my big bathtub.
Love,
Grandma
